Sunday, for me, is the day to truly experience the dense and architecturally diverse community of Hillcrest. This last Sunday offered testament to that truth.
A radiant sun, a gentle breeze, it was great weather for our regular stroll through the Hillcrest Farmer’s Market. Today, like always, the market was bustling. High-stepping dog leashes, we made our way through the crowd.
After grabbing coffee, we headed to the center of the market to enjoy live music. Bluegrass is definitely a crowd favorite. Toddlers were dancing, dogs barking, parents smiling, and neighbors shopping. A perfect way to spend our day.
An impromptu late lunch with friends at Trust Restaurant turned into an early night out. We ate a little more, drank a little more. We debated if it was to early to go dancing. Instead, we chose to walk the food off at Balboa Park…truly San Diego.
